BURWOOD HOSPITAL

Tapper Units

There are four self care 1 bedroom units, which are located adjacent to the Burwood Spinal Unit within easy walking distance via an outside path. The Tapper Units are utilised primarily by patients and their caregivers to adapt to a home environment prior to discharge. Subject to availability, the units may be used by families, for short to medium term accommodation.

Milner Lodge

There are four self-contained 1 bedroom units with full laundry facilities available for patients and for family support, mid-long term possibility.

Burwood Hostel

Located on the hospital grounds, adjacent to the main hospital complex, the hostel offers 4 double bedrooms and 12 single bedrooms on 1st floor with two single bedrooms on the ground floor. Communal kitchen, bathroom, laundry and lounge facilities are available. All bed linen and towels are provided. There are two separate self-contained one bedroom flats with phone, which are available on a weekly letting basis.  No lift services are provided in the building and pets are not permitted in the hostel.
