Jacqui grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada, and graduated in Medicine from the University of Saakatchewan in 1977. She came to New Zealand as an elective student and as a House Surgeon and joined the Department of Pathology at Christchurch Hospital in 1980. Here she trained in Anatomical Pathology from 1980 to 1985 gaining FRCPA in 1985. Jacqui joined the department as a consultant in 1986. Her main interests are skin and renal pathology.
