In mid 2007, Sue took on the newly created role of Operational Development Facilitator at CHLabs. She was previously Section Head of Specialist Haematology at CHLabs during a career in science spanning 30+ years. In her new role she is responsible for providing mentoring and support for all staff in the area of on-going training requirements and team building. She is the contact point for students at CHLabs and also provides HR liaison as required. She is currently Deputy Chair of the Medical Laboratory Science Board (MLSB). She maintains her interest in medical laboratory science as President of the Bone Marrow Transplant Scientist Association of Australasia (BMTSAA) as well as through membership of ISCT, HSANZ and BMTSANZ.
