Trevor obtained a BSc qualification from Canterbury University in 1989 and started emplyment at Canterbury Health Laboratories in 1990 as a trainee technologist in Microbiology. Since qualifying as a medical technologist in Microbiology (1991) and Virology (1993), he has also obtained a Specialist Certificate Award in Virology (1993) and Microbiology (1996). Trevor completed a MSc in Medical laboratory Science (Massey University) in 2004, and is currently employed as the developmental technologist for Microbiology. His responsibilities and interests include molecular Microbiology and antimicrobial testing.
