CANTERBURY DHB QUALITY & PATIENT SAFETY COUNCILThe Canterbury DHB Quality Strategic Plan 2007-2010 is sponsored by the Canterbury DHB Quality and Patient Safety Council. The Plan is designed for both the Hospital and Specialist Service and Community Based Providers. The Plan contains 1 vision, 5 goals, 25 priorities and proposes an infinite number of initiatives.

The goals and priorities contained in the Plan were determined following an extensive literature review and consultation process. The Plan seeks to challenge everybody providing Canterbury health and disability services, in partnership with the people of Canterbury, to take a lead in advancing the continuous improvement of quality and safety, by responding with ideas and initiatives to realise the 25 priorities.
